The building is named Jardines de Nazca, easily identifiable by its name and building number displayed prominently at the entrance.

  • If you're using a taxi or need a location reference, the building is conveniently situated directly across from Maria Reiche Park.

  • The nearest main avenue behind the building is Avenida El Ejercito.

  • For your convenience, we recommend using ride-sharing services through applications such as Uber or Cabify. You can easily find both apps in the application stores for your mobile system, whether Android or iOS.

Use of WIFI

We utilize a Mesh Internet system throughout the entire house. The primary modem is located and installed adjacent to the printer in the office equipment and supplies area, within the hallway furniture leading towards the bedrooms.

The available network provides high-speed connectivity with two standard signals: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, accessible throughout the entire apartment.

With the aim of increasing security but also the practicality of use, the entrance to the apartment has a Smart Lock located on the front door that opens. with an access code given by the hosts.

The code is usually the last 4 digits of the guest's cell phone number, ID or passport. In case you require a specific combination please let us know.

Usage steps for OPEN

  • Step 1: Wake Up

    Touch the front panel of the lock to activate. You will be able to notice it since the entire panel will light up, revealing the different numbers.

  • Step 2: Code

    Enter the assigned code by marking the respective numerical combination on the panel. Once the code has been entered, press the button with the icon of a Check inside a House. It's in the bottom right of the panel

  • Step 3: Check

    Finally, you will hear a sound notification from the lock announcing that the door is now open

Usage steps for CLOSE

  • Step 1: Wake Up

    Once outside, make sure the door is completely closed.

    Touch the front panel of the lock to activate. You will be able to notice it since the entire panel will light up, revealing the different numbers.

  • Step 2: Close

    With the help of the latch, just press a few seconds the Padlock icon that you can see in the lower left part of the panel. When doing so, you will be able to hear a sound notification confirming the closed.

  • This process will take only a few seconds.

  • If you have any kind of difficulty, do not be shy to contact directly to the Host's phone number on a quick Whatsapp Message that was provided to you through the internal Airbnb chat. You can also find it at the beginning of this Guide.

  • Remember that the door will notify you through a voice message (in English) if the door could not be closed properly, for which you will have to repeat the process.

Coffee Machine

The coffee machine that you will find at your disposal is an automatic drip coffee maker (Auto-Drip Coffee Maker) and does not require the use of paper filters. The coffee must be placed in the metal basket. The water is placed in the tank located at the back.

We recommend using two full tablespoons of coffee for every cup of water.

Stove

The kitchen uses a natural gas stove. It is not necessary to use matches to light the burners since there is a button that generates a wick in each burner (electric ignition).

  • Step 1

    First, always remember to turn the knob counterclockwise to release the gas. The power of the flame goes from Maximum to Minimum.

    In the same way, when you finish cooking, make sure to check that the knob is closed with the notch facing up.

  • Step 2

    Immediately after opening the gas outlet, you can start the flame by pressing the electric ignition button. A small spark will sound.

  • Remember that for your safety, and in case you are staying with children, they should stay away from the kitchen's most risky devices, such as Blender Toast, Oven, etc.

  • Our kitchen works with a continuous Gas system, so if you detect a leak, let us know as soon as possible. It can only be solved by specialized personnel.

The dishes are located in the lower drawers, next to the stove and under the coffee machine. Glasses and cups are in the top drawers on the right side of the kitchen or on top of the paper towels. In the lower drawers of that space, are the cutlery.

Washer/Dryer Machine

It has a Washing machine that also fulfills the Drying function (Washer/Dryer). It support 12 Kilos tops of Clothing for Washing and 7 kilos tops for Drying.

As a general rule, for a correct Drying process, it is recommended to place clothes only up to half of the total load of clothing that you washed.

  • Washer/Dryer Machine

    It is very easy to use. Just choose the type of Wash you need, you can even program the Wash and Dry in a single choice. Just remember the necessary amounts of clothing, so that you have a good final result.

  • Supply Location

    For your comfort, we leave you Powder Detergent available.

    Please, for the proper functioning of the equipment, follow the indications of where each washing input goes.

  • Clothesline

    Likewise, you will find a wood clothesline that will allow you to have a natural drying if required.

  • Ironing Donkey

    We also leave an ironing donkey at your disposal, as well as an iron so that you are ready to explore the city.

Showers and Hot Water 24/7

We have a large capacity electric water tank to provide you with hot water all the time and it turns on automatically when you turn the hot water tap. At the same time, we would appreciate it if you use the water responsibly.

Recomendations

Please dispose of waste (toilet paper, sanitary napkins, tampons, cottons, etc.) in the rubbish bins and not in the toilet. And just as a precaution, make sure to close the taps well to avoid any type of leak.

  • Gas stove

    Although our gas stove has a tank with a considerable amount of water and this is more than enough for the performance of the entire apartment, we ask that you please use the water responsibly.

  • Toiletries

    In the main bathroom, you can always find a hair dryer, towels, a scale, toilet paper, and soap at your disposal.

The printer can be used remotely through the "HP Smart" application that can be downloaded from the App Store or Play Store. Here are the links to download the application directly to your mobile device, laptop or smartphone.

  • Wireless Printer

    Our printer can also make copies. You can do this by placing a sheet under the main cover and selecting the type of copy you need. In Color or Black and White.

    You can also find more ready-to-use sheets in the drawer below. Feel free to use what you need.

    As a recommendation, always remember to be connected to the Wi-Fi network so that the operation can be simple.

All televisions have a paid and activated Netflix and Amazon Prime account, which are under the user “Nazca502”. Therefore, you will be able to enjoy the different catalogs that these applications offer.

Although the televisions have other applications installed (Disney, HBO, etc.) typical of Smart TVs, free accounts are not offered for these.

Part of our job also involves providing you with the necessary security so that you can have a comfortable, enjoyable, and safe stay. That's why, following all Airbnb's legal guidelines, we have installed an exterior security camera, which is clearly stated in our publication and description of the apartment on Airbnb.

In this section we answer all your possible questions about it:

  • We only have one camera installed on the exterior part of the entrance door, which visually covers both the door and part of the respective entrance.

  • The primary reason is security, and it's twofold. What does that mean? Simply put, it allows us to ensure both the guest's safety and our own as hosts by quickly spotting any suspicious activity or unexpected visitors. Plus, since we welcome guests from all over the globe, around the clock, it gives us the opportunity to offer remote assistance whenever needed, making sure everyone feels comfortable and supported during their stay.

  • That's right, as we mentioned in the previous point, security is a priority for both parties, this means that in the same way that we care about the well-being of you, our dear guests, we also care about our own security, and for the integrity of the apartment.

    For instance, we enforce strict rules prohibiting parties or unauthorized guests. The presence of cameras serves both as a deterrent for such occurrences and as evidence should they occur, providing us with a basis for fair claims with Airbnb.

  • We're really sorry, but we can't agree to that request. As we've mentioned before, the cameras are an important part of our security measures, and they're fully disclosed in our Airbnb listing. They're there to ensure everyone's safety and peace of mind during their stay.

    If you disconnect them without our full authorization for any reason, we will be obliged to report it as a serious violation to Airbnb, which could result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation.

  • Outdoor Camera

    This device is positioned outside the main entrance door. It serves as our primary motion detection and surveillance tool, continuously recording footage. This aids us in identifying and visually monitoring any unauthorized individuals, intruders, or suspicious activity.

The apartment includes a parking lot on the first floor (N°18) for a single vehicle.

To use it, it is necessary for Guests to ask the Hosts for the Remote Control of the parking gate, which must be returned in the same conditions at the end of the stay.

  • Parking Lot View

    It is located in space No. 18 and on the first level.

  • Parking Gate

    The entrance to the parking lot is through the back of the building, that is, on the street C. Contralmirante Villar.

  • Public Parking

    There are also free public parking lots in front of the building, on “Malecón de la Marina” street. You can find them along the boardwalk.

  • It is important to remember that any damage or loss of the Remote Control will have an extra cash charge of S/250 soles or the equivalent in dollars.

  • The use of the parking lot is only for the vehicle of the holder of the reservation, and not for any other vehicle. In case of needing the entry of a family member or friend with a vehicle, it must be informed in advance and it will be up to us to accept or not. This for security measure.

  • Any damage that the guest's vehicle causes to the infrastructure of the building, will be reported to AIRBNB and assumed as a fault that must be reimbursed for the total cost of repair that it generates and after an evaluation by us.

  • Although parking is located inside the building, we do not provide dedicated vehicle security. We ask you to secure your vehicle by closing it correctly. We are not responsible for any theft or direct damage to the vehicle.

Garbage Disposal Instructions

Each floor within the building has an area to place the garbage that will later be removed by the cleaning staff. Here we guide you on how to do it.

We ask that for order, hygiene, and in consideration with the cleaning staff, you make sure that all garbage is left in completely closed black bags, without spills.

You can find the garbage bags for both the Bathroom and Kitchen bins in the drawer under the kitchen sink.

  • Step 1

    The trash can is located behind the door in front of the elevators on each floor, which is also the room before the emergency stairs.

  • Step 2

    When you open that door, you will find a garbage can. Please put the rubbish in the bin that you will find in that space.
